Dominic D:
It wasn't until I was 12 or 13 that my high functioning Autism was diagnosed, so school has always been extremely challenging for me and ended up causing PTSD. I did my GCSEs through homeschooling and then started at Suffolk One College where I am studying A Level Electronics and Computer Science - which is amazing!
Dominic's Story
I Learn best when I’m trying to solve problems and love to reverse engineer things, I take everything apart to see what it looks like inside!
I love to make and build - I started with Lego when I was tiny and that has now become a city that has taken over my parent's sitting room. I was the kid that was reading Professor Brainstorm at 7 years old while everyone else was outside playing football. It was actually a relief when I finally got my diagnosis - it allowed me to put things into perspective and understand myself better.
I'm currently working on an exciting project to redesign glue-guns to get rid of their many operating flaws. It involves massive improvements in not only the glue-gun design itself but also creating software to optimise performance across multiple applications.
