The SMRRF 2026 Workshop Programme is designed to give young people, families and curious minds a hands-on introduction to engineering, robotics and 3D printing. These workshops will run both Saturday and Sunday and are at no additional cost.

Bring 3D Creations To Life
Blayze Tech are bringing their RoboPad™ platform to SMRRF 2026 — a mobile phone-controlled RC robotics system that makes it easy and affordable for anyone to bring 3D-printed creations to life.
This hands-on workshop is perfect for makers, students, and families eager to explore robotics without a steep learning curve. Participants will get to design, build and control their own robots in real time, guided by Blayze Tech’s expert team.

PrintABlok, created by Joe Larson, the 3D Printing Professor, is bringing hands-on creativity to SMRRF 2026 with a LEGO-style open play zone designed for builders of all ages. Led by Doug of DreamsVoid, this workshop invites attendees to dive into a pit of 3D-printed blocks and let their imaginations take over.​
