Ever since I was young I've felt different, and that feeling only got stronger as I grew older. I was diagnosed as an adult and, while this diagnosis has helped me to understand myself better, it has also made me realise how much effort it takes me, compared to my peers, just to navigate the world around me.
Over time, I learned to push through challenges, but I still couldn’t shake the doubt about why things felt harder for me compared to others...

Jorge's Story
Jorge is a talented Masters student whose passion for design and engineering is matched by his talent and dedication. He demonstrates an extraordinary level of creativity, innovation, and technical prowess. ​

Jorge recently told us that since receiving his diagnosis it has made him realise that he wants to focus on improving the quality of his life, especially now that he has entered the job market. With the help of the SMF he is hoping to make the transition from studying to working as smooth as possible.
